Fred’s String Band is one of Southern California’s leading live music troupes – and has been for over 3 decades! We’d love to play at your wedding, party, anniversary, celebration of life, or any other event where live music makes a difference.
We play many kinds of music and can appear in a format that will fit your event, so whatever your needs are, we can meet them.
Whether you want music for a wedding, reception, anniversary, company party, sales meeting, birthday, celebration of life, Christmas or Hanukkah party, summer barbecue, holiday get together, or anything else you can name, we look forward to playing for you and making your event the hit of the year.
We are professional musicians, and have no other “day job.” We’ve made a go of it for many years, and we could not have done that unless we delivered quality. We’re not a booking service or agent for part-time players, so when you call us at (949) 642-1686 (ask for Will), or meet with us to discuss your special plans, you will be talking with the actual musicians who will appear. You can be sure you will get the performance you want.

Working with the musicians also means we can perform your special requests in a fun, elegant way that’s just for you. And there’s no missed communication between you and the musicians. The folks you talked with about what you want are the ones who will play it.
We have played at every major venue in Southern California, and almost all the minor ones. We know how to work with your site, whether it’s indoors, outdoors, a church, a hotel ballroom, a big arena or a grade school gym. We can make the problems go away, make the good times smooth, and get your focus on a great event.
